Volunteers are an integral part of our school and of your student's success at Ford.

All adults who volunteer on GISD campuses must first be registered.

GISD uses the Mentor/Volunteer/Partner System (MVPS) to help recruit, manage and track volunteers across the district. Every year, volunteers apply online and need to pass a background check. Approved volunteers will still be required to present ID to gain entry to the school.
